Our bison Schaljapin is an eye-catcher in the auditorium. The bison was nearly extinct, but through a breeding program, this species was saved from extinction, partly thanks to our Schaljapin.
The auditorium is highly versatile.
For visitors, it’s a cozy place to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea – the first cup is even included in the admission price.
Due to the original educational focus, education is an important target group for the museum:
- There’s a special hands-on corner where children (but also adults!) can look at, touch, and/or try out objects.
- This space is also excellent for giving lessons, workshops, lectures, or a small reception (possibly in combination with a museum visit or guided tour).
