The foundation's statutes state as its objective: \u201cto operate a natural history and ethnographic museum in Oudenbosch in continuation of the natural history and ethnographic museum operated by the Congregation of the Brothers of St. Aloysius Gonzaga... in Oudenbosch\u201d. The board meets at least eight times per year. Board members receive no compensation.
