Natuurhistorisch & Volkenkundig

This is the youngest department in the museum. The exposition, based on the archaeological objects in the collections of the Brothers, was designed in 2008.

It shows a marvelous collection of finds from the soil of Western Brabant. We owe this extraordinary collection especially to brother Christofoor, who started it as early as the fifties of the last century,

A number of scale models show the development of the relation of humans to their natural environment from prehistoric times until this day.

Some hand axes and other prehistoric stone tools from the museum collection are displayed, illustrating the habitats of prehistoric humanity.
